The kitchen is often considered the heart of any home, and this is particularly true for this loft located in Jumeirah Beach Residence. The client requested a striking design for his kitchen, featuring a dark colour scheme combined with a wood finish to match the overall loft design.
This Sadaf kitchen designed by Chiara Porcu encompasses a variety of well-considered elements that result in a breath-taking culinary space. One of the standout elements is the island that serves as a multifunctional space for both cooking and socialising. It includes a hob and an Elica downdraft hood that faces the living area and a beautiful Marina view. Additionally, the island is designed to accommodate six people facing each other in the middle and pull-out drawers on both sides, providing ample storage space for cookware and equipment.
Another notable aspect is the channel lighting built into the base units, which creates a subtle yet sophisticated ambiance. Furthermore, the kitchen features two wall units with lift-up doors that provide additional storage space for dishes, glasses, and other kitchen essentials. These units are designed to be both practical and stylish, with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic that complements the rest of the kitchen’s design. The corner over-the-counter cabinet is a functional and space-saving solution. Its primary purpose is to declutter the worktop by providing a designated area for storing small appliances when they are not in use. This includes appliances such as toasters, blenders, electric kettles, and other similar items that can take up valuable counter space and create visual clutter.
The Silestone Arden Blue worktop and backsplash cladding the wall behind the wall cabinets is a durable and elegant surface for food preparation and cooking. Its natural, earthy tone complements the dark colour palette of the kitchen, while also adding texture and visual interest to the design.
Together, these remarkable design features elevate the Kaiser kitchen’s aesthetic to new heights.
