Our tasty journey continues with Miele & Francesca Busso. Our second festive masterpiece: Puff Pastry Christmas Trees, baked to perfection with Miele Fan Plus function which is ideal for quick and gentle baking.
Ingredients:
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 60g cream cheese
- 12 thin slices turkey ham
- 10 green olives
- 10 cubes of hard cheese
Instructions:
- Roll out the puff pastry or ensure it is completely defrosted if frozen. Lightly roll to smooth out.
- Spread cream cheese over the pastry and layer with turkey ham slices. Slice the pastry into 9 or 10 strips lengthwise.
- Fold the strips accordion-style, starting with a small amount and widening as you go until reaching the end.
- Place a long skewer in the center, starting at the base and going through to the top of the tree. If using a Miele tray, no parchment paper is needed due to the exclusive PerfectClean finish, preventing food from sticking and facilitating easier cleaning.
- Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C in fan plus mode.
- Remove from the fridge and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until golden. Optionally, top each tree with a green olive.
